The practice receives a large proportion of repeat work and is retained by a number of commercial clients to undertake commissions on their behalf. Knight Gratrix was founded in 2000 by Tim Knight and Steve Gratrix on the principles of quality of design, responsibility to the community and value for money and integrity to their clients.

Steve listened very carefully to our requirements and offered 3 very different ideas, enabling us to focus on what we did and didn’t want. Each visit and consultation was thought provoking, never rushed and extremely thorough. The level of detail in the final plans have enabled us to get some detailed pricing from builders and seamless interaction with our kitchen designer. Unknown to us at the time of choosing builders and kitchen designers, both had independently worked with Steve on other projects and have the same high regard for the practice and Steve’s attention to detail. Highly recommend.
Cannot recommend Steve Gratrix and the team at Knight Gratrix highly enough. Everyone that was involved in our project was very professional and courteous. Steve took the time to ensure that he had a full understanding of exactly what we wanted to achieve through converting the loft space and adding an extension to our house. This was apparent in the highly detailed plans that he produced and even sent us several different designs to demonstrate possible options. Our builder commented on how well defined the drawings were and easy to understand. Steve was always available on the telephone to answer any questions and to come to our house to discuss the plans. We are delighted with the improvements that have been made to our home as a result of Steve's design and wouldn't hesitate to use him again should we have any future requirements.
